Research at the conference this year will comprise a session to Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. 5600 Fishers Lane Rockville, MD 20857 Telephone: (301) 427-1364 It provides a forum for the publication of international, interdisciplinary research and development in primary health care. The COVID-19 pandemic has meant that the PCRS Respiratory Conference 2020 will be held online. In 1978, a pivotal conference was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, bringing together health experts and world leaders to commit to health for all. The conference is looking incredibly well organised with a great online platform, and will be an exciting mix of high calibre speakers with Q&A and group breakout sessions still an important part of the conference. Activities conducted include a Primary Health Care Research Conference, rapid reviews of evidence to support PHC policy and practice and commissioned research in the PHC setting. Thank you everyone for your patience whilst we have been negotiating with the NEC to ensure the continuity of the Primary Care and Public Health event at the NEC in May. We have taken the very difficult decision to postpone the event to May 12-13 2021. Primary Health Care Research & Development is a fully open access journal aimed specifically at both researchers and practitioners in primary health care, bridging the gap between primary health care research policy and practice. The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) School for Primary Care Research is a partnership between nine leading academic centres for primary care research in England. The Primary Health Care (PHC) Research Conference is the national knowledge exchange opportunity for people with an interest in PHC. Delegates attend to stay current with recent PHC developments, trends and news. Endorsed at that conference, the declaration formed the foundation for the last 40 years of global primary health care efforts. We already have many delegates registered and this continues to rise daily. Our main aims are to increase the evidence base for primary care practice through high quality research and strategic leadership, and to build capacity in primary care with a well established training programme. It attracts some 450 delegates, contributing research as well as practice, policy, management and consumer/community perspectives. The Primary Health Care Research and Information Service (PHCRIS) is a research and knowledge exchange organisation based at the Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute.
